We are looking for a Senior Research Engineer who has experience training Large Multimodal AI models.
You will be one of the senior founding members of the team working on creating one of the most advanced simulators that will form the backbone of thousands of Computer Vision and Robotics companies worldwide.
You will be a part of the company’s research team and will be responsible for working closely with the CTO to research and implement AI models for the simulation platform.
You will be expected to be involved in end-to-end AI model development, from data collection, training, testing, and deployment to writing research papers. The role will involve quickly learning new technologies and frameworks and adapting to rapidly changing requirements.
Work Setting: Remote
- 5+ years of industrial research experience in CV/Robotics, with a strong focus on machine learning and deep learning.
- Deep understanding of LLM and Diffusion models
- Master's or PhD in Computer Vision, Robotics, or a related field.
- Published research papers at top conferences (ICRA, CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICML, SIGGRAPH, ICLR)
- Deep expertise in Python and C++
- Highly proficient in Mathematics
- Proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
- Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools (preferably Git)
- Total Engineering Experience: 5+ years
- Frontend Development Experience (NextJS/ReactJS): 4+ years
- Backend Development Experience (Django/Python): 4+ years
- DevOps (AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes): 3+ years
- Database Management Experience (PostgreSQL): 2+ years
- Message Queue Experience (RabbitMQ/Kafka/SQS): 2+ years
- C++ Programming: 2+ years
- Strong problem-solving skills (Advanced Data Structures and Algorithms).
- Proven experience in software optimisation and scaling products.
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry or similar.
- Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience working with Simulators (NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Maniskill, etc)
- Commercial experience in R&D in one of the generative models, 3D reconstruction, and multi-sensor fusion
- Experience working with synthetic datasets
- Knowledge of 3D modelling or computer graphics.
